AI for a Small Business in Aldershot: Starting With One Task in a Salon
You do not need an AI strategy. You need to know which single job is eating your evenings, and to fix that one first.
For help getting started with AI in a small business in Aldershot, begin with one task, not a plan. Dean Keating, an AI automation consultant in Horndean, Hampshire, picks the single job that helps most, builds an AI agent for it and installs it remotely. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304.
Why "one task" is the whole method
Small businesses rarely fail at AI by choosing the wrong tool. They fail by trying to change everything, then stopping. Choose one repeated job that annoys you, get it working, and only then think about a second.
A barber's week
The directory lists 60 hairdressers and barbers as of 10 October 2026, 33 of them with an Aldershot address and the rest in Farnborough, Farnham and Camberley. See the hairdressers page. Imagine one chair, one owner. The day is clients, the evening is the phone. Messages ask for a slot, a price, whether a Saturday is free, or to move an appointment.
Which of those is the single task? Find out by noting, for one week, every message you answer more than once. The winner is usually obvious by Friday.
How to choose the first task
- Write down every interruption for a week.
- Circle what you answered the same way more than twice.
- Of those, pick the one where a late reply costs you a booking.
- Decide what must always reach you, such as a complaint.
- Start there.
Where Dean Keating fits
He starts with the single task that makes the most difference. The route is a free call, an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, then training and support. He builds AI agents for jobs such as replying to enquiries, sending confirmations and reminders, and booking into the diary, working inside the tools you already use. It is installed for you, not handed over.
It is not a course. You leave the free call with a plan you can use with him or without him, and cost is given after that call with no obligation.
